Jay joined deMaine Seeberger PLLC following a two-year clerkship with Judge Benjamin H. Settle of the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington and a two-year clerkship with Judge Stephen J. Dwyer of the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division I. In these roles, Jay worked closely with judges, drafting numerous orders and opinions in a wide array of cases and proposing recommendations on legal issues arising during trials and oral arguments.

Jay was born and raised in the Seattle area. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and communication from Santa Clara University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas at Austin. He enjoys watching movies, going to concerts, and cooking and traveling with his partner, Jessika.
